Well, what a year 2022 was yet again for InfoTeam International!
After two years of COVID-affected business, with lots of virtual meetings and the occasional “will we-won’t we” gathering, 2022 was finally the year in which we married up those virtual roundtables with face-to-face events that could be planned with some confidence. We made a highly successful return to them across Europe, with events in London, by the stunning Arc de Triomphe in Paris and in lovely Stockholm.
It was so fantastic to be back in face-to-face sessions with sponsors and delegates alike. Whilst remote sessions run virtually are still useful, and have the obvious benefit of saving travel time and money, the events we run are all about connections, networking and ideas sharing – which as we know, is more often done through casual chat over a coffee or glass of wine, as opposed to virtual formal sessions.
Of course, the delivery of the presentations, seminars, round tables and panels also benefits from being live, with greater focus and interaction in the room. It’s safe to say we’re delighted physical events are very much back on the agenda!
And we’re showing you just how much…this year we have a series of events lined up throughout the early part of the year, with events in Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen, Brussels, Frankfurt and Paris already on the schedule, and plenty more to come. It’s really exciting to be hosting these events and we hope you might be able to join us at one, or maybe even more.
We’re very thankful to all the support we have received and continue to receive, to our sponsors for hosting events and of course to all our contributors and delegates who make the events productive, thought-provoking and fun!
Away from events, it was also another positive year in terms of recognition, with the business being nominated for more awards here in Britain. Our Director, Joan Tolentino was nominated for the Great British Businesswoman Rising Star of the Year Award, whilst the business was a finalist in the International Business of the Year, as part of the Caerphilly Business Club Awards, the Welsh county we’re based in.
We’re so grateful to everyone for their support and really excited about how the year ahead is shaping up. Lots of face-to-face events all across Europe, more locations ticked off and hundreds more delegates to walk through the doors keen to learn and improve their knowledge of the market. We have worked with some of the very biggest brands across Europe in the last couple of years, both in the Cyber Defence world and the ultra-competitive Consumer market, and we look forward to bringing even more pizazz to our events this year.
A recent delegate from Orange Cyberdefense gave us a testimonial after the event he attended and asked us the question “how do you get so many of the right people to your event?”.
