CIO & CISO PHILIPPINES SMART WEBINAR

Date: December 15, 2020 3PM PH time

Event Overview

MINIMIZING INSIDER THREAT IN A POST-COVID WORLD

The “Insider Threat” is often overlooked, but can be as harmful to an employer as a more traditional hacker or fraudster. It can be both intentional (in the form of a disgruntled employee), or accidental (employees who unintentionally cause damage; for example, by using an unsecured router).

Now that coronavirus has accelerated mass adoption of work-from-home policies, the insider threat is more pertinent than ever before, exposing companies to additional risks of fraud and the unintentional leak of confidential information.

When company data is scattered everywhere, how should the c-suite and security directors respond? This live webinar will consider the ways in which COVID-19 has evolved the insider threat, and the practical steps employers should be taking to protect themselves.

Agenda

3:00 - 3:10 - WELCOME REMARKS & INTRODUCTION

3:10 - 3:25 SESSION 1 - DELEGATE PRESENTATION

Strategizing the fall of the Adversary

The cybersecurity operations center (CSOC) should have the right blend of people, process and technology to establish a competent defense of the changing landscape of the enterprise. This includes an array of detection and prevention technologies, a large pool cyber intelligence sources, and access to a rapidly expanding workforce of talented cyber professionals. Yet, most CSOCs still fall short in keeping with the defenses against the adversary. It will be good to have sharing with industry colleagues on the best practices in implementing and managing CSOCs.
