There are few roles in any company with the global reach and remit of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) or a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and few which are quite so similar across the globe. The requirements are broadly the same whether you’re based in Stockholm or Shanghai, and the threats to your business that the roles are helping to try and protect can come from any part of our planet and hit any two businesses at the same time.
The experiences of a CISO in London can help inform and educate one in Lima and the same ideas and processes, whilst always needing to be agile and flexible as needed, can often apply to any business, anywhere.
It’s because of this that whilst our business is based in south Wales, near the capital Cardiff, the reach and aim of InfoTeam International is truly global. In the past 15 months we have hosted seminars in more than half-a-dozen countries across northern Europe, and this year sees us expand towards the Mediterranean to Spain and Italy to add even more countries and experiences which we’re truly excited by, and we hope our clients and delegates will be able to benefit accordingly.
It is also why we decided we needed even more.

Following our recent launch event, as well as our base in south Wales we are delighted that 2021 is the year that we have opened our office in Manila, Philippines, too. With all the additional threat and focus that COVID-19 brought the world, our base in such a thriving and bustling location in the Far East enables us to launch a series of events – both physical and virtual – across the region to help our customers build a wider community to combine their ideas, experience and profess ionalism and help each other protect those around us.
